After years of holidaying in Spain, my wife and I decided to move to Alicante (or thereabouts) at some point in the future. However, it was clear that I would have to learn the language beforehand. The only question was which Spanish language instruction course should I use?

So, I started the search to find Spanish language instruction that I could use while I drove.

If you have a question, the online Spanish learner’s forum is a great place to get feedback and information. And although I didn’t have time for them, my wife swears by Rocket’s online interactive games as a fun and easy way to learn Spanish.

The down side of audio-based learning.
Taking it upon yourself to learn a language on your own isn’t easy and requires a great deal of self-discipline, whether it is with a learning Spanish DVD or CD. Certainly, there isn’t the comradely and tutorial support that you get with a class.
True, some people may find it easier to pick up a language by using both audio and visual methods, as you would with a learning Spanish DVD. Yet this doesn’t give you the mobility to learn on the go, which I really needed.
Ultimately, I decided to purchase Rocket Spanish CDs because it gave me the thoroughness and convenience I needed.
With any luck it won’t be long till we make our dreams a reality and move to Spain.
